The historic Withrow Ballroom and Event Center, located at 12169 Keystone Ave. N. in Hugo, MN, has hosted dances, wedding receptions, ceremonies, fundraisers, anniversaries, conferences, and parties since 1928.
Nestled amongst farms and horse ranches on 12 picturesque acres just minutes from Stillwater, MN, the ballroom is perfect for your indoor or outdoor wedding and reception.
The ballroom features an on-site event planner, bride’s and groom’s rooms, a large wooden dance floor and stage, two full-service bars, free ample parking, and free WiFi.

How do I purchase tickets for events?
You may purchase tickets at the door for most events, or call the ballroom at (651) 439-5123, order online.
Advance tickets over the phone must be purhased by credit card or debit card. All major credit cards are accepted.
All tickets purchased in advance or at the door are non-refundable.
Can I reserve a table?
We can reserve a table for you with your advance ticket purchase. Ask the reservationist when placing your order.
What are the alcohol policies at the Withrow Ballroom?
There are two full cash bars at the ballroom. It is no longer acceptable to bring your own bottle to the ballroom as in the past.
Do you serve food at the Withrow Ballroom?
Yes, the Withrow Ballroom has a concessions area where you may purchase, chips, popcorn, candy, pop, juice, and bottled water.
Wedding planning
Withrow’s wedding and event coordinator will work closely with you to custom tailor the details for your special day. Begin by contacting Pam at pam@withrowballroom.com or (651) 439-5123 to check availability and rental information.
The Withrow Ballroom has a preferred caterer, Vincenzo Catering, or you may select the caterer of your choice.
The Withrow Ballroom has two full-service bars and can work with you to develop your beverage package. You may choose a hosted bar, partial hosted bar/cash bar, hosted soft drinks and coffee/cash bar, or all cash bar.
Call or e-mail to check on the availability of future dates. You may also wish to consider a Friday or Sunday date at a discounted fee.
In addition, the Withrow Ballroom offers special discounted packages for weddings booked for the months of December through March.
